I am a Sports Therapist & Bowen Practitioner - which means that I will select the therapy that is suitable for YOU after a consultation (which is, of course free), where the symptoms and many other factors are taken into consideration.
When you visit you will have a series of ’health checks’ including blood pressure, pulse rate, peak flow, flexibility and height&weight (if required) - this will be followed by a case background aimed at building a picture of any ailment and enabling the offer of appropriate treatment.
Bowen is a most remarkable healing tool as it is all-embracing in it’s effectiveness. Frozen shoulders frequently respond very dramatically and so do back problems. Elbow and knee pain is often resolved very quickly together with all other structural or skeletal disorders, but that’s not the end of the story. Bowen can also be effective with stress and tension-based problems such as migraine headaches, as well as emotional and allergic type symptoms. It can be used on infants and the aged and there are no known contra-indications.
Many talented and experienced professional practitioners such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, kinesiologists, chiropractors, acupuncturists and sports therapists have been amazed at the simplicity and efficacy of this cost-effective, powerful, non-invasive and gentle form of healing and have now chosen to use it in preference to or alongside their own modalities.
I also use Accupressure, Shiatsu & Emmet Techniques to complement the effects of the traditional Bowen moves with some success...
